As a Physical Therapist specializing in restoring function and mobility, Arienne Wrigley works with patients spanning several populations, including pediatric and geriatric clients, as well as triathletes, and athletes of multiple sports across the collegiate, professional, and Olympic levels.
Arienne completed her first clinical affiliation at Jaguar Therapeutics in October 2013, prior to earning her DPT degree. During her time at Jaguar, Arienne has developed her skills in manual therapy, gait analysis, and performance training, while working closely with other healthcare professionals including chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and personal trainers to provide a total wellness approach to athletic training.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to earning her DPT, Arienne had the opportunity to work with the University of Pittsburgh Division I men’s basketball, football, and co-ed track/cross country team as an athletic trainer.  She honed her skills under the guidance of physical therapists and veteran athletic trainers, and was given opportunities to learn from several world-renowned physicians and orthopedic surgeons. She has further developed her skill set by working with pediatric patients during summer sports camps in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and volunteering her time with strength and conditioning specialists in Miami, Florida.

 

EDUCATION

Arienne is a 2010 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2015 from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

 

Arienne has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Training Association since August 2010.  She would also like to work on her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification in the coming months to further expand her knowledge base and specialize her skills in the orthopedic field.
