As a Personal Trainer at Jaguar, Frankie Telfort specializes in functional, compound and whole body integrative movements, high intensity core and circuit training, strength, balance and stability. He is a certified personal trainer specializing in TRX, kettle bells, VIPR, FMS as well as pre / post natal training. His ample experience as both a Personal Trainer and a top level athlete gives him a unique perspective while working with his clients and their individual goals. Frankie is known for referring to his style of training as the “Old Bull Approach”.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Shortly after his return to Miami, Frankie began a successful career as a Personal Trainer, where he has helped clients increase range of motion in joints via principles established from the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and his studies at USC. Frankie also completed mentorships at the Institute of Motion with Michol Dalcourt, the creator of ViPR, and with the NFL Seattle Seahawks under Coach Carrol. He attended the PlanStrong Seminar with Pavel Tsatsouline, and earned his certification in Precision Nutrition in order to further help his clients reach their fitness and wellness goals.

 

As a dedicated and experienced athlete, Frankie played football for Gulliver Preparatory High school and received a host of awards for his performance and leadership abilities. He lead his team to the State Championship his senior year and accumulated a staggering 38 D1 scholarship offers before accepting a football scholarship to USC. On the field, Frankie was a dedicated Assistant Defensive Coach, working with Division 1-A athletes during his entire undergraduate career at USC.

 

Frankie continues to assist young student-athletes as the Defensive Coordinator for Gulliver Preparatory High school where he serves as a mentor and helps prepare student-athletes for a successful career in collegiate athletics.

 

EDUCATION

Frankie graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. At USC, he studied in a biomechanics lab analyzing walking gait, sprint mechanics, squat mechanics, and lateral movement. Frankie is also certified in several kettle bell disciplines including StrongFirst Level 1 and 2 Kettle Bell Coach.
