Lynn Symonette, A.P., D.O.M., is a Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. Beginning in 2013, she joined Jaguar Therapeutics as their Acupuncture Physician, working with the nation’s best athletes on both collegiate and professional levels, as well as both the US and British Sailing Teams.

Lynn’s practice is centered on her philosophy that restoring balance in the body is the key to optimal health and recovery of illness or injury.  She is committed to helping each of her patients fulfill their ultimate health goal through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional counseling and lifestyle management.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Lynn began her career as a health care professional in 2005 as a massage therapist and bodywork specialist, working in several medical clinics throughout South Florida. Her passion for natural medicine and holistic healing led her to continue her education at the Acupuncture & Massage College in Miami, FL, where she received formal educational training in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With over 10 years experience in holistic medicine, Dr Symonette uses her training to treat a variety of health conditions including acute and chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, women’s health, and digestive complaints such as IBS, constipation, and acid reflux. She is also the owner and founder of Life In Balance Acupuncture & Wellness, a holistic wellness center based in Miami that specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

EDUCATION

Lynn earned both Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Oriental Medicine degrees, graduating with valedictorian honors. She holds board certifications in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
