
AT JAGUAR
During his time at Jaguar, Marvin Sublett has developed and strengthened an integrative approach to providing manual therapy, corrective exercise, and performance training services to a wide variety of clients including: collegiate, professional, and Olympic level athletes, as well as the general population striving to achieve a more functional body.
After serving as Head Physical Therapist at Jaguar’s Downtown Miami clinic, Marvin became Head Physical Therapist at the Weston clinic, where he oversaw treatment plans for the 2016 NFL Combine Prep program at Fit Speed Athletic Performance. He attended the 2016 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, where he treated several top prospects for the 2016 NFL Draft. During his time in Weston, he also directed off-season rehab programs for several NFL athletes, and continues to gain experience providing care within the Division I NCAA, MLB, professional tennis, triathlete competition, Olympic sailing, and Olympic martial arts.
In addition to his vast understanding of the core functionality behind physical movement, Marvin is also recognized for his ability to productively relate and connect with clients of all backgrounds, whether the goal is higher performance on the field or simply an increased quality of life.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to his time at Jaguar, Marvin strengthened his skills by working as a personal trainer for multiple performance training locations in Atlanta, Georgia. His extensive experience with a wide array of clients, from general fitness seekers to multi-sport athletes, honed his instincts for implementing functional training and performance programs. From 2012-2014, Marvin also gained substantial corporate fitness experience as an Exercise Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Prior to earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2015 from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, Marvin graduated from Georgia State University in 2011, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Marvin achieved the title of Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) through the American College of Sports Medicine (2011), and is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (2011). In order to best serve his clients, Marvin prides himself on remaining up to date on the most innovative therapies, and in 2015, became certified in Active Release Technique® and Fibroblaster® IASTM.
